The QSC single 18" subwoofer (bass thumper) is only used at venues that allow it. The sound it produces can penetrate floors and walls and disturb hotel guests. This speaker is best suited for arenas and large hall style buildings. Not to worry, as the QSC K12 speakers have a "deep mode" that also produces a milder, deep, rich bass sound.
